Code2Create will run on Monday afternoons, for 8 weeks during term (excluding Monday 10 June public holiday). This eight-session course will teach children aged 8 to 14 how to code using Scratch and M-Bots.

Please note: this is an intermediate to advanced course. Children must have prior knowledge of Scratch coding before attending.

The eight-week schedule includes:
* Week 1 - Monday 6 May
* Week 2 - Monday 13 May
* Week 3 - Monday 20 May
* Week 4 - Monday 27 May
* Week 5 - Monday 3 June
* Week 6 - Monday 17 June
* Week 7 - Monday 24 June
* Week 8 – Monday 1 July

Before attending this 8-week course:
1. Parents need to create a Scratch account for their child before the first class. Visit the Scratch website and click “Join Scratch".
2. Participants need to know the login for the Scratch account.
3. Participants need their own device – laptops are preferred with a wired mouse.
4. Participants need to be able to code at an intermediate to advanced level.
5. To ensure the safety of all participants, no food can be brought or consumed during the program.
6. Parents/Guardians of children under 10 years should remain in the Library during this activity and all other children are to be collected promptly at the advertised finishing time.

Please be aware of the following:
* This is an 8-week course, run on Monday afternoons during term for one hour. Attendance is required each week.
* Bookings are essential (each child needs a ticket)
* Suitable for children aged 8 to 14 years
* Parents/guardians of children under 10 must remain in the library during the activity
