Sutherland Shire Libraries will deliver books and other materials to the homes of residents who are unable to visit the library regularly because of frailty, disability, illness or carer's duties.
Customers can join the Home Library service on a permanent or temporary basis. A referral may be required.
- Free fortnightly deliveries are made to Sutherland Shire residents in private homes, aged care facilities and participating nursing homes.
- Items are selected to suit individual customer preferences.
- Books are available in normal and large print. Audiobooks, eBooks, DVDs, music and magazines can also be provided.
- Assistance to use the libraries’ digital services is available on request.
