Adobe Digital Editions - Account Authorisation changes

This change affects users of Overdrive, BorrowBox and IndyReads who use Adobe Digital Editions (ADE) to either read an eBook on their PC/laptop or transfer eBooks from their PC/laptop to an eReader via cable.

Starting June 23, 2026, users who download and authorise Adobe Digital Editions for the first time will need to create a ByteBooks ID instead of an Adobe ID. This is because Adobe’s eBook platform (including ADE) is now managed by Wipro, owner of ByteBooks.

Existing ADE users will not be impacted unless they encounter an issue that requires reauthorisation of their devices or want to authorise a new device. If this happens, ADE will prompt affected users to create a ByteBooks ID.

LOTE4kids maintenance window, starting Tuesday, 14 July 2026

LOTE4Kids is carrying out scheduled infrastructure maintenance starting Tuesday, 14 July to support faster performance going forward.

The LOTE4Kids website and app should work normally for most of this window, however, you might see brief, occasional interruptions between 9:00 AM (Tue, 14 Jul) – 9:00 AM (Fri, 17 Jul) as a safety margin while the work is completed in stages.

If you do encounter a maintenance page, just try again shortly after – most interruptions won't last long.
