Cronulla Library closed on 4 July 2025 due to electrical works
Ausgrid will disconnect power to Cronulla Central on Friday, 4 July 2025 while they undertake essential works. As a result, Cronulla Library will be closed for the day.
The book chute at Cronulla library will be unavailable during this time. 24-hour return chutes are available at Sutherland, Caringbah, Miranda, Engadine and Menai Libraries if you need to return your library materials while Cronulla is closed.
Normal opening hours will resume on Saturday, 5 July 2025. Library members can log in to their accounts online to renew loans, place holds and access our digital collections while the library is closed.

Room Bookings unavailable from 4:30pm, 30 June 2025
Our Room Bookings portal will be unavailable from 4:30pm on Monday, 30 June 2025 until 7:00am on Tuesday, 1 July 2025 while we undertake End of Financial Year maintenance.
Customers will be unable to book meeting rooms and spaces at Sutherland, Kirrawee and Engadine libraries and existing customers will not be able to access their Bookable accounts to make payments, etc. during this time.
