What can be recycled at the Hubs?

  • Household batteries (alkaline, lithium-ion (Li-ion), nickel cadmium (Ni-Cd), nickel metal hydride (Ni-MH), nickel zinc (Ni-Zn), lithium primary, carbon zinc button/coin cell batteries)
  • Light Globes
  • Mobile Phones
  • Household Cables
  • Small E-waste (Including USB drives, portable hard drives, floppy discs, digital notebooks, CD/DVD drives, mice, keyboards, and more!).

The maximum size of individual items is 240mm wide and 100mm high (240mm x 100mm).

We do not accept large, damaged or swollen batteries at the hub. Refer to Sutherland Shire Council's Recycling and disposal directory for more information on how to responsibly dispose of these items.
