Stick insects are coming to your library! Unleash your inner mini beast these school holidays by visiting our libraries to see these friendly critters up close and personal.
To get in the Mini Beast spirit for this year’s Summer Reading Challenge, we are hosting a travelling stick insect display at the libraries.
These fascinating creepy-crawlies are famous for being the world’s longest insects. They spend much of their time in trees, mimicking leaves and branches to avoid predators. This bug lives in tropical and temperate climates all over the world and this summer they can be found at your local library!
Come along during opening hours to any of our participating libraries to view these mini beasts up close.
