If you’ve ever wanted to learn how to prepare, knit and weave beautiful woollen pieces, then come along to the library to see the Sutherland Shire Spinners and Weavers demonstrate their craft.
Presented by the Sutherland Shire Spinners and Weavers, this live day-long demonstration will show you how to prepare and create knits, weaves and other handmade woollen pieces. Drop in to watch spinning wheels, tapestry weaving, looms, fiber preparation and more in action.
We will also have various displays of colourful creations by the Spinners and Weavers located throughout the library from Friday 17 May to Monday 3 June, so you can see their woollen masterpieces up close.
