About Internet History Resources
Internet History Resources provides scanned images of historical documents that contain information to help you trace people who lived and worked in New South Wales from 1850 to 1920. These records complement and build on information you can obtain from the NSW Births, Deaths and Marriages indexes and the Genealogical Research Kit.
The service provides records from:
- Directories (including Sydney Sands Directories),
- Electoral rolls,
- Miners and mining leases,
- Land purchasers and lessees,
- Agricultural records (farmers, graziers, shearers and station hands),
- Other occupations (including civil servants, teachers, etc.),
- Miscellaneous records (voters, petitioners, friendly society members etc.)
