What are accessible reads?
Accessible reads refer to books and resources that be read, listened to, or enjoyed by everyone, including people with:
- learning difficulties, such as dyslexia
- vision impairments or blindness
- cognitive or neurological conditions
- mobility impairments
- autism or sensory sensitivities
Inclusive reads involve formats, design and delivery methods that break down barriers to reading by providing alternative ways to engage with the written word.
