Open Doors, Open Books, Open Minds
Thursday, 30 July 2026

The libraries will be alive with exciting events and drop-in activities throughout the day, such as Book Groups, Chair Yoga, board games, films, book bag-making and more.

Our friends at Sutherland Shire Leisure Centres, Hazelhurst and Headspace, Miranda, will run Stretch Yourself Strong Classes, Tarot Card Making Workshops and a Youth Group Bonanza.

For kids, children’s book author Ursula Dubosarsky will join us for Storytime at Kirrawee Library+ and kids can come along to Sutherland Library and Miranda Library for Storytime After Dark.

Open Doors, Open Books, Open Minds is a coordinated statewide initiative delivered by NSW Public Libraries Association and the State Library of NSW during Library Information Week.

Ready, set, go! Mark your calendars and we will see you there.
